In his first Papal mass, Pope Leo XIV spoke of how servant leaders builds community through celebrating diversity and being among their peers: 鈥淸St Peter] is called to serve the faith of his brothers and sisters and to walk alongside them, for all of us are 鈥榣iving stones鈥� (1 Peter 2:5), called through our baptism to build God鈥檚 house in fraternal communion, in the harmony of the Spirit, in the coexistence of diversity.鈥� This focus is most fitting in the wake of our 2026 Year 12 College Captains and Vice Captains receiving their handover from our wonderful 2025 leaders at the Year 12 Farewell College Assembly.
